Downtown Toronto resident Aren Ayres spent a lot of time looking at condominiums that
would provide her with convenience in a less hectic location. Her mother heard about Lash Group
of Companies' Cloud9 Condominiums at Kipling and Esther Lorrie Drive in Etobicoke and suggested
Aren take a look. Mom's advice turned out to be excellent. "Once I had checked out the surroundings
and the sales centre, I was confident I had found the perfect housing option," she says. "Cloud9 is
in a quieter area than the city core. The amount of green space around the neighbourhood is fantastic.
I'm looking forward to walking and biking along the Humber River Valley Trail. It will be a nice
change of pace from where I live now."
A school board office administrator, Aren says the 30 to 40-minute commute from Cloud9 to her
workplace will be well worth the drive. "Highway access is easy from there," she says, "and I will be
able to walk to many local amenities." Cloud9 is close to the TTC, shopping, parks, schools, cinemas,
Humber College, the Toronto Public Library, the Woodbine Racetrack and community centres.
When Nadine Grant started looking around for a condominium she can move to when she becomes
an empty-nester, she shopped with a different attitude from most new-home seekers. Nadine is a real estate
agent whose market savvy helped her recognize the opportunities at Lash Group of Companies' Cloud9 Condominiums
in Etobicoke. "I live in a detached home in Caledon right now, and with my daughter in university, my lifestyle
is changing," she says. "As a busy real estate agent, I don't have time to maintain a large property. I also love
to travel and Cloud9 is closer to the airport and highways. Once I live there, I can simply shut the door and leave.
This fits in perfectly with my plans for the next several years."
Nadine was so impressed with the Cloud9 suite layouts that she purchased two! "I bought a two-bedroom suite for
myself plus a one-bedroom + den as an investment. The 823 square-foot two-bedroom suite is very spacious with a lot
of windows and a wraparound balcony. The smaller suite’s den makes this layout flexible. People could use it as
a second bedroom or home office."
Cloud9 is close to the TTC, shopping, parks, cinemas, Humber College and an array of other amenities. "I used to
live in Etobicoke, and I miss this location," Nadine says. "When I saw the Cloud9 ad, I decided to check it out. I'm glad I did."
Retired Early Childhood Education teacher Colleen
McMichael did her homework before buying at
Cloud9, and says that’s why she feels so good
about her investment. “I researched Lash Group of
Companies, including their previous developments.
Everything got great reviews. I had the opportunity
to meet the developers at an event, and I was
impressed with their approachability and honesty,”
she says. Colleen is excited about the next phase
of her life, when she will move from her single-family
home in Etobicoke to Cloud9. "I worried about
making the transition from my house to a towering
high-rise, so when I saw that Cloud9 would be an
intimate residence of only 12 floors, I knew it was
perfect for me. My money will still be invested in real
estate, and I’ll reap the benefits of condo living. I
like to travel, so I will be able to turn the key and go
without worrying about maintaining the lawn or other
outdoor aspects of owning a separate home. I will
also feel safer with the concierge right there."
She loves that her ground-level one-bedroom suite
with den has direct street access, and as a life-long
Etobicoke resident, Colleen was already sold on the
superior location. “It’s quiet, and the Humber River
Ravine is so nice to walk along,” she says. The pool
is another big plus. “Right now, I go to Humber
College to swim, but once I move into Cloud9, I’ll
hop on the elevator to the indoor pool!”
Zoltan Merkovic purchased his suite at Cloud9 as an
investment, and he likes it so much, he is considering
living there! “This is the first home I’ve ever bought,
and I was sold on the location and value. Everything
is convenient, including major highways, a hospital
and schools. I know this is an excellent investment,”
says the auto mechanic, who works nearby. “This
building is extremely desirable and people realize
how central it is,” he adds.
He says he also appreciates the service he’s
received from Lash Group of Companies. “I looked
at other condominium projects and sometimes
found the sales office staff were not helpful,” he says.
“Everyone at Lash is pleasant to deal with. I was
totally impressed with how nice and approachable
the sales people are.”
Zoltan says he also loves the look and described the
modern architecture as “clean and inviting”. He also
is impressed with the extensive amenities. Zoltan
selected his 529 sq.-ft. one-bedroom suite because
of the spacious terrace and beautiful views of the
city and surrounding parks. “I like the open-concept
layout a lot,” he says, “and the quality of the finishes
is very high.”
